Henry Hitchings

Henry Hitchings studied English Literature at Oxford before gaining his PhD at UCL (University College London). He has published several books on Dr Samuel Johnson, and in 2005 he won the Modern Language Association's prize for the bext book by an independent scholar for 'Dr Johnson's Dictionary'. He is also a theatre critic for the London Evening Standard.
